What to bring on a Group Walk
A group walk is a really good way to give a new hobby a try and explore the outdoors, therefore, we don’t expect you to have every type of kit, or expensive brands. We do however, recommend bringing the following:
- A sturdy pair of walking shoes or boots.
- If rain is forecast, it is preferable to wear a waterproof jacket and trousers. Furthermore we would recommend bringing a waterproof jacket on any walk.
- A full water bottle, we recommend a minimum of 2 litres.
- A packed lunch for a full day walk
- Snacks!
- A rucksack to carry your things
- Your camera/smart phone. We enjoy taking photos and encourage you to as well.
If you have any concerns about the required kit, please reach out to us, and we’ll do our best to assist you. Additionally, feel free to contact us for any further assistance or clarification you may need.

Where do we go on group walks?
We take the opportunity to explore different areas of the countryside. Many of our walks are based around the areas we know best in the South East of England, but occasionally we will have planned something elsewhere. Some of our favourite spots include the Chiltern Hills, the New Forest and the Surrey Hills.
Why a group walk?
A group walk is a really good way to meet new people, explore a new route, and learn something new. Furthermore, we support you all the way, with an experienced instructor leading the way. Our pace will suit all abilities and allow you to get out exploring. You can book as an individual, with a friend or colleague, or ask us to organise something for your group of friends.
